Grab the opportunity to equip yourself as an entrepreneur, generate and grow your ideas, understand and apply business acument, and advance your leadership through this immersive and experiential learning workshop series.
Youth Start-Up Apprentice Workshop (YSAW) is a 6 day workshop designed for participants between the age of 11-15 years old with the opportunity for them to learn and grasp how to be an inclusive entrepreneur. This workshop will further their understanding and application on: leadership and communication, business acumen, going to market (marketing), finances (balancing the books), seeing value and capitalising on diversity both in thought and ideas, agility in response to changes in internal and external environment.
The programme will be conducted through an experiential learning model with fun and engaging games and sessions to encourage deeper learning and higher retention. Furthermore, as a vital application piece, each group will also be tasked to put their knowledge and product to the test by taking their product to the marketplace (Day 6) and generating awareness, leads, and sales. Going to market will enable participants to gain leadership experience, and gauge the viability to their product to further harness their entrepreneurial skills via first hand application within a safe environment.
