Farah joined Leaderonomics with a strong passion in capacity building, focusing on youth empowerment. She was previously attached to Yayasan Sukarelawan Siswa (YSS), a volunteer foundation under the Higher Education Ministry, training and developing undergraduates to be global volunteer leaders. She has been volunteering and mobilising student volunteers domestically and internationally across the ASEAN region. She was also involved with national flood relief missions in Pahang back in 2015.
In her time here, she has delivered programmes including training and facilitation for corporate companies such as the Economic Planning Unit’s Skim Latihan 1Malaysia (or SL1M), Axiata, TalentCorp, Astro and Alliance Bank, as well as private and public universities in Malaysia.
Prior to Leaderonomics, Farah found joy in volunteering, and has been volunteering with YSS since 2014. She continues to serve the community whereby on the 1st and 3rd weekends of each month, you will find her at Kuala Kubu Baru, as Kalsom Harapan Head Facilitator conducting English fun learning for the underprivileged students. Outside of work, she loves to travel to new countries, discover some hidden gems and explore new cultures.
Farah holds a Bachelor of Education (Hons) (TESL) and a Master of Education in Educational Management and Leadership from Universiti Teknologi MARA.
